OBE’s and Astral Travel is becoming increasingly popular amongst the New Age communities. Delving into this practice isn’t as illusive as it once was. These days people have access to so many tools and ways to achieve an out of body experience, but if you’ve been playing around with these techniques you will notice that the challenge isn’t having an OBE it’s actually maintaining it.
When you have an OBE your body basically is put on standby. Your emotions switch off and your basic 5 senses are stable and not being overly stimulated. That way your consciousness can gently seperate from your physical body. So if while you are in an OBE or in Astral time such as Lucid dreaming you are exposed to a thought form that triggers an emotional or physical response from your physical body guess what your survival mechanism will instantly snap your consciousness straight back into your physical body.
Astral ET’s and Dream Masters will often test you to see how good you are at keeping your emotions composed by exposing you to a fearful thought or memory as you are going out of body. If your physical hormones are stimulated and an emotional response is triggered you will be sucked straight back into your physical body. Those who are great at achieving OBE experiences are usually people who have a grasp over their emotions and able to control them. They often have a sense of calm and peacefulness around them.
Therefore, if you have a tendency to over react or get over emotional without being able to logically rationalise your emotions in the heat of a moment it’s safe to assume that maintaining an OBE might be harder for you. Learn to control your emotions and your consciousness will feel more free to explore the Universe for longer. ��
